Chrystal Kelmanson, Founder and Owner

As a proud Kentucky native, Chrystal has deep roots in the Bluegrass State and a steadfast commitment to its communities. With extensive clinical experience as a nurse practitioner, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate care and support to improve the health and well-being of those in need. As the owner and primary provider at Bluegrass CannaMed, Chrystal’s goal is to assist individuals seeking alternative treatment options for chronic conditions.

Andrea Homer
APRN
Andrea Homer joined Bluegrass CannaMed in 2024 and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has five years experience as a FNP in primary care after many years working as a registered nurse in numerous hospital settings. Andrea is authorized by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a medical cannabis practitioner and is passionate about teaching and utilizing preventative, holistic and integrative approaches with her patients. She is looking forward to helping members of the community be able to find alternative treatment options for their chronic conditions.

Sandra Kelley
APRN
Sandra Kelley is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years in Addiction Medicine. She has been practicing in Medication for Opioid Use Disorder since 2017. She retired from the University of Kentucky in 2022. While at UK she saw patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings with Substance Use Disorders. Sandy has dedicated her career in service to individuals with multiple chronic medical and psychological issues. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, the Kentucky Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the Kentucky Board of Alcohol Drug Counselors. She maintains membership in the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives and the American Nurses Association. She was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel in 2018 for her work in addiction treatment. She is excited to join in the use of Medical Cannabis for individuals with chronic health conditions.
